McGuilty Sneak Peak

Here is my mother piece for my upcoming show in October! Yes it will be in downtown LA and I am ever so excited….

By mother piece I mean, this is the main theme of the series. The rest of the paintings will definitely have the same idea to it.

So if you ever need a reason to NOT eat fast food, I hope this helps!

p.s. I eat happy meals once in a while….. = (

Animation Stand 0.5

One thing at a time! Well it’s been over a year since I wanted to start animating again…and now that I have a compatible camera to animate with, I thought I would start out by building a new animation stand. It’s made out of an abandoned shelf. I’ve had many annoying moments putting this thing together and I cursed many times how this kind of thing needs a control Z function. I plan to finish it this weekend. Oh ya, this is all taking place in an abandoned apartment. Spooky times.

A Message from China

I was very happy to get this email from Superpunch today!

Dear John Struan (superpunch),

I’ve had about a thousand emails this morning pointing me to the utterly amazing art riffing off my books that you organised and hosted. I wanted to tell you how astonished and enormously honoured I am that you did this, and at all the artists’ amazing work. I want to thank you, and all the artists involved, absolutely boundlessly and profusely. I’m really overwhelmed.
