My second live art event went really well. Not only did I have another chance to draw with my buddy Simon, but we picked up a couple other artists to join in the fun! Jessica G is a young manga artist and she can really deliver some solid work. Naomi a production artist in the gaming industry also showed off some wonderful work. We had alot of great feedback/sales and are glad to be keeping the live art portion of the tournament kicking.
This time around, I started to really define my style of cutsey chibi style characters and got the watercolors flowing even faster than before. But by the end of the night my sharpies were running dry and I started painting my outlines. Which has led me onto trying sumi ink for that. I’m always excited to develop something with each painting and the next ones will be even better. Thanks for everyone who came out!
