A short story that is based on this point in our lives. Thinking about writing/illustrating it. It started as a gift to my friend Morgan who just had a baby boy and needed a painting of a bunny in his room (the baby’s maybe?).
It just holds the sense of adventure I can remember having as a kid. And seems all to familiar in the real world
So my lady’s brother requested that she make him a ninja doll, and I jumped at the chance to design it! Similar to all my other big headed ideas, Bubba Ninja was born. Her and I have been talking about making dolls before so this was a great opportunity to try it. We made him in 1 day and took him out to little tokyo for some karaoke. Expect to see mini bubba ninjas on sale soon!
Ok, so UGTL has officially outgrown itself. I must say I’m pretty happy to be part of such an amazing phenomenon. I’ve been with the UGTL since the 3rd event when I asked if it would be alright if I did some live art, and now…I’ve been asked to head up the “Art Department” UGTL’s official gallery.
